Colbert County (/ˈkɒlbərt/) is a county of the U.S. state of Alabama. As of the 2010 census the county's population was 54,428. The county seat is Tuscumbia. Its name is in honor of brothers George and Levi Colbert, Chickasaw Indian chiefs.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 622 square miles (1,610 km²), of which 593 square miles (1,540 km²) is land and 30 square miles (78 km²) (4.7%) is water.
